With sadness, we share the passing of Carroll William Joye of Orangeburg, South Carolina. Carroll passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dargan Joye and Margaret Elizabeth Rhoad Joye; and his siblings, Junie Joye, Janice J. Ferris, Mary Julia Johnson, Sylvia Faulling, Donna Kemmerlin and Carl Joye.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Furtick Joye; his children, Margie Cramer (Bruce), Connie Joye, Michelle Shiftlet (Kurt), Randy Joye (Lisa) and Richard Joye (Elizabeth); his stepsons, Robbie Shuler (Cynthia) and Donnie Shuler (Kim); and his siblings, Sue Hughes (Dennis), Mike Ferris (Susan), Zane Ferris (Kim) and Cathy Schlessinger (Steve). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Orangeburg Municipal Airport (1811 Airport Rd, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cope Baptist Church (6031 Slab Landing Rd, Cope, SC 29038).
