He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Banes Lloyd; his father John Lloyd, Sr. of Rocky Mount; his children, Jamelle Barnes of Columbia, Donavan Lloyd Wright of Rocky Mount, NC, Donald Lloyd Jr. of Charlotte and Assata Lloyd of Rocky Mount; and his brothers, Maurice Lloyd of Rocky Mount and John Lloyd Jr. of Rocky Mount. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
