She is survived by : her sister Vera Infinger Soard of St. George; her great-nephews, Jeffrey Soard, Ryan Soard (Brittany) of Walterboro and Meredith Anne of Walterboro; her sister-in-law Chick Metts Bates of Orangeburg; her nieces and nephews, Lesa Steedley and Wynn Bates; her caregivers, Alicia Axson, Cindy Soard and Danielle Axson; and also Mason Soard of St. George.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First Baptist Church of Orangeburg (1240 Russell St, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2720 Broughton St, Orangeburg, SC 29118).
