He was predeceased by: his parents, George Warren Johnson, Sr. and Emily Talbert Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Williams Johnson; his sons, Eddie Johnson of Orangeburg, Teddy W. Johnson (Lisa) of Orangeburg and Chris Johnson (Wendy) of Orangeburg; and his siblings, Mary Emily Thielbar of New Mexico and Rufus Johnson (Marilyn) of Summerville. He is also survived by ten Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren.
