He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Ruth Quigley Reed; his father William Russell Reed; and his sons, George Jr. and William Reed. He is survived by: his children, Michael Reed (Sharon), Kathleen Koldeway, David Reed (Katherine), Paul Reed, Shawn Reed and Rosemary Hughey (Jack).
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens (4830 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118).
