He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph Dahlgren and Adeline Theresa Miles; and his son-in-law Robert Baggerly. He is survived by: his children, Jay Harold Dahlgren, Jr., Beth Dahlgren Baggerly and Anne Dahlgren Williamson (Jimmy); and his grandchildren, Daniel Dahlgren, Mary Brooke Sansbury, Amber Uchin, Jaymie Baggerly, Bridget Baggerly, James "Will" Williamson, III and Claire Williamson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

CDC guidelines for the Covid-19 virus and social distancing will be observed during the service and burial. All attendees will be required to wear a mask.
