We announce the death of Jeanne Bieren Guè of Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2026. She was predeceased by: her spouse Dr. Bert V. Guè, Jr.; her parents, Dr. Roland Bieren and Audrey Rice Bieren; her son-in-law Carl A. Jones; her sister-in-law Mary Sims Guè; her uncle Buddy; her aunt Margaret Rice of Baltimore, Maryland; and her pet Annie Mae Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Guè Jones (Harry Haigler Bozardt) of Orangeburg and Bertrand V. Guè, III of Texas; her brother-in-law Thomas B. Guè of Columbia; her grandchildren, Savannah Guè Jones of Columbia, Turner Nathaniel Jones of Winston-Salem, David Rice Jones of Columbia, Bertrand Victor Guè IV and Nolia Brice Guè of Summerville; and her nieces and nephews, Robin Guè Hatanpaa of McLean, Virginia, Mary Guè Berry of Columbia and Thomas B. Guè, Jr. of Orangeburg.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1240 Russell St, Orangeburg, SC 29115).
