It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Douglas Hughes (Orangeburg, South Carolina), born in Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hughes and Grace Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hughes; his children, Tracy Jones (John), Carrie Garrett (Shawn), Suzie Randle (Derrice), Angel Wilson (Marcus) and Eric Hughes (Melissa); his grandchildren, Cameron Jones (MyKayla), Bryson Jones (Grayson), Weston Jones (Megan), Catherine Windham, Kyle Garrett (Zoe), Skylar Randle, Sydney Randle, Hunter Hughes and Jade Wilson; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Kaleb, Ella, Melody, Mia, Kohan and Lennox; his siblings, Franklin Hughes (Sandy), Ronda Bouchette (Ricky), Vernon Hughes, Edward Hughes, Charles "Willie" Hughes and Zandra Wilkes; and his great grandchild Tucker Jones.
