He was predeceased by : his sister Elda Hubbard. He is survived by : his wife Sandra "Sandee" A. Gingrich; his sons, Michael Gingrich (Petrece) of Orangeburg, SC and Craig Gingrich (Sara) of Aiken, SC.; his grandchildren, Johann Isaiah Lawson, Ian Andrew Gingrich, Emauri Samad and Tariq Shamar Singletary; and his siblings, Ethel Keefer, Miriam Keefer, Dorothy Cross (Howard), Harold Gingrich (Carol) and Blaine Gingrich (Mary).

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Embark Church (3600 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118).
