She was predeceased by : her parents, Elvin McIver and Mary Horger Tager; and her siblings, El "Mac" McIver and June Herlong. She is survived by : her siblings, John W. McIver (Bonnie) and Susan Golson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and additional family and friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Gethsemane Baptist Church (655 Hammond Cross Rd, St Matthews, SC 29135).
