He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Howard Metts and Mildred Nettles Metts. He is survived by: his children, Louise (Dale), Jessie (Jon) and James (Shannon); his daughter-in-law Sheinna; his sister Linda; and his son Allen. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
