She was predeceased by: her husbands, Russell Smith and Woodrow Richardson, Sr.; and her son Herschel Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Roberta Lee (Ernie); her daughter-in-law Pamela Smith of Huntersville, NC; and her children, Pamela Bair of Apex, NC and Russell Smith (Ellen) of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
