He was predeceased by: his wife Kristin Dalton; and his grandparents, Helen, Heyward Dalton, Patricia and Roy Auton.
He is survived by: his parents, Heyward Dalton, Jr. and Gereldene "Jerrie" Roberts Auton (Gary); his children, Makayla Dalton (Guy Moseley), Ava Dalton, Kora Dalton and Owen Dalton; the mother of his children LeAnne Barwick (David); his grandparents, Dene and Mendel Roberts; his siblings, Laura Auton (Kayla), David Auton, Joshua Auton (Emily) and Renee Peterson; and his close friends, Scotty Barfield and Tyler Whitman. He is also survived by other aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dukes-Harley Funeral Home Chapel (3379 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118).
