He was predeceased by: his parent McAdoo Berry; his brother Michael Berry; and his granddaughter Reghan. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Bailey Berry; his siblings, Larry M. Berry (Mary) of Orangeburg and Renee Proveaux (Toby) of Raleigh, N. C.; and his son Richard William Berry, Jr. of Greenville. He is also survived by two grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins and his faithful companion.
