Roger Kidd Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Kidd of Orangeburg, South Carolina, born in Savannah, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Roger shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Roger farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B. Kidd and Agnes L. Kidd; and his siblings, Bennett H. Owens, Jr. and Leona Norton. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Joy Kidd; his children, Christy Thurston (Todd), Julie Kidd and William Kidd (Tiffany); and his brother Donald Owens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and additional family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Roger's memory to Dukes Harley Funeral Home & Crematory in Orangeburg, or the American Heart Association.
