Shirley leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shirley’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her husband George Warren Johnson, Jr.; and her parents, H. D. Williams and Edith Gunter Williams. She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Johnson of Orangeburg, Teddy W. Johnson (Lisa) of Orangeburg and Chris Johnson (Wendy) of Orangeburg. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Dukes-Harley Funeral Home Chapel (3379 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2720 Broughton St, Orangeburg, SC 29118).
