We are sad to announce that, on April 25, 2026, at the age of 72, Tommy L. Nivens Sr. (Orangeburg, South Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirk N. Nivens and Jessie Stone Nivens; his brothers, David and Jimmy NIvens; and his siblings-in-law, Calvin, Aaron, Harry, Doug Garrett and Joyce Garrett.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Nivens; his son Lee Nivens (Alaina); his grandchildren, Addison Nivens and Levi Nivens; his brother Kirk Nivens (Anita); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Croft (Reggie), Jimmie Garrett, Judy Williams (Gerald) and Janice Nivens. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
