She was predeceased by: her close friend J. E. Fowler; her parents, Britton Harris and Sudie Morris Harris; her son Tim Howell; and her granddaughter Jessica Howell.
She is survived by: her children, Dugar Howell (Amy) of Chesnee, Britt Howell (Sissy) and Michelle Hembree of Cross Anchor. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pacolet First Baptist Church (310 W Main St, Pacolet, SC 29372). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
