It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Minnie Thompson Wells of Pacolet, South Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William J. Thompson and Inez Byers Thompson; her husband James L. Wells; and her sisters, Joanne Wilson and Rebecca Reynolds.

She is survived by : her daughters, Suzanne W. Schultz (Tim) of Pacolet and Jan W. Fortune (Randy) of Spartanburg; her grandsons, Russell Wells Fortune and Andrew Nicholas Fortune; and her sister Patricia Thompson. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
