He was predeceased by: his wife Cathy Conklin Kirby; his parents, Fred "Worry" Kirby and Betty Duncan Kirby; and his sister Lynn Kirby. He is survived by: his children, Randy Kirby (Joy) of Spartanburg, Jennifer Kirby of Pacolet and Miranda Kirby of Campobello; his siblings, Lee Kirby (Margaret) of Woodruff and Dianne Nickols of Boiling Springs, SC; and his grandson George Kirby.
