He is survived by: his wife Ruth Marlene Smith; his children, Joseph Martin (Stephanie) of Pensacola, FL and Pamela Burcewicz (Mike) of Avon, OH; his grandson Donovan Burcewicz; his siblings, Daniel Smith (Robin) of Spartanburg, SC and Jane Greene (Martin) of Plymouth, MA; and his niece Danielle Davis.
