He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Lee and Ethel Clardy Dickerson; his spouse Georgie Sue Julian Dickerson; and his siblings, Irene Rogers, Ned and Lee Oddis Dickerson.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Dickerson (Kathy), Scott Dickerson (Samantha), Jeff Dickerson (Jane), Susie White (Andy) and Andy Dickerson (Teresa); and his sister Frankie Murphy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Foundation (Hospice or Heart Disease) or to a charity of one's choice.
