She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis and Eunice Fletcher Blackwell; her significant other Robert L. "Bob" Smith; and her sister Emily Kleppel. She is survived by: her nephew Eric M. Kleppel (Missy); her great-nephew Henry of Greenville, SC; her goddaughter Emily Royall; and her significant other's children, Miriam Hart (Rick), Lanier Smith and Laura O'Neal (Mike).
