He was predeceased by: his parents, William Evans and Mildred Evans; his wife Loree Evans; his daughter Sharon Evans Nicholson; his granddaughter Brittany Nicholson; and his siblings, Harley Mae Demby, Loree Langley, Bonnie Harpe, Yvonne Strawn, Ernie Evans and Ben Evans.
He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Wallace (Eddie); his siblings, Ted Evans, Coy Evans, Jean Rhodes (Paul) and Don Evans; and his grandsons, Brandon Wallace (April), Joshua Wallace, Nicholas Wallace (Kasey), James Nicholson (Ana) and Grant Nicholson (Emma).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Service (708 W McGregor St, Pageland, SC 29728). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 3:15 PM at the Philadelphia Baptist Church (5709 Philadelphia Church Rd, Marshville, NC 28103).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church.
