He was predeceased by: his wife Colleen Sanders; his parents, Drew Robert and Faye Sanders; his nephew Chad Baker; and his brother-in-law Bill Baker.

He is survived by: his children, Robert M. Sanders (Robin) and Joy Tonelli (Mickey); his granddaughters, Alicia Jordan (Michael), Cassie Eley (Mark) and Joyce Hester (Ian); his great grandchildren, Kelsey Jordan, Addison Jordan, Robert Eley, Shane Jordan and Leighton Eley; and his sisters, Sherry Thomas, Pam Poindexter and Helen Baker. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
