She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sullivan and Thelma Sullivan; and her parents-in-law, Walter and Henrietta Carter of Pageland. She is survived by: her husband Vernon F. Carter; her son Lin Carter (Tonya) of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Joshua Carter, Catherine Carter and Caleb Carter; her daughter Stephanie Kirby (Ryan) of High Point, NC; her grandchildren, Anna Kristin Kirby and Grayson Kirby; and her siblings, Jerry Sullivan (Jill), Donnie Sullivan (Judy), Mickey Sullivan (Gwen) and Debbie Helms. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Pageland (203 Pigg St, Pageland, SC 29728). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
