Gene W. Foxworth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene W. Foxworth of Pamplico, South Carolina, born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Foxworth and Annabelle Rogers Foxworth; and his brother Larry W. Foxworth. He is survived by: his wife Frances G. Foxworth; his sons, Steven Foxworth of Daytona Beach, FL and Gene Foxworth, Jr. (Mariana) of Cocoa, FL; his stepsons, John Franklin Hyman (Debbie) of Pamplico and Tony Wayne Hyman (Cheryl) of Pamplico; his daughters, Vanessa Garrison (Mike) of Burlington, NC, Stephanie Long of Woodbridge, VA, Gina Guedesse (Matt) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Karen Thomas of Titusville, FL, Suzette Bueso (Carlos) of Melbourne, FL and Connie Ringer of Merritt Island, FL; and his siblings, Joseph Earl Foxworth (Buddy) of Cocoa, Betty F. Jordan of Murrells Inlet, Virginia F. Sundy of Atlanta, GA, Carl Edward Foxworth (Gloria) of Florence, Charles David Foxworth (Hazel) of Georgetown and June Ellen Moore of Cummings, GA.. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Elon Free Will Baptist Church (263 W 7 Mile Rd, Pamplico, SC 29583). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
