She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Matthews and Mary Kennedy Matthews; her spouse S. J. Collins; and her siblings, George "Bootsie" Matthews, Sonny Buck Matthews, Kenneth Jeffords, Marie Jeffords, Corine Anderson, Tiny Anderson, Shirley Jensen and Diane Miles.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Collins, Betty Mae Goodman (Stevie) and Lisa Godwin (Bill); her grandchildren, Bridgett Collins, Tasha DuBridge (Kyle), Jamie Godwin (Corley), Stephanie Avant (Ryan), Benjamin Godwin (Anna) and Mikey Jensen; her great grandchildren, Taylor Lee, Tara Lee, Kaylie Avant, Khloe Avant, Braylin Godwin, Waylon Godwin and Zoiey Jensen; her friend Skeeter Cade; her caregiver Teresa Rogers; and her friend Ilamae. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
