He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Mae Welch Hudson and Ben Hudson, Sr.; and his wife Shawn Denise Hudson. He is survived by: his children, Paul Timothy "Timmy" Hudson and Kristin Poston (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Paul "Cole" Poston (Cayla), Sydney Stroud (CJ), Jarrett Poston and Tryston Poston; his great grandchildren, Keeley Stroud, Della Stroud, Emory Stroud and Presley Poston; and his siblings, Ben Hudson, Jr., Gene Hudson and Mary Carraway.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cypress Grove Church (7001 Friendfield Rd, Effingham, SC 29541). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
