He was predeceased by: his parents, Szabolcs J. Borcsik and Maria P. Szabo Borcsik; and his brother Willam S. Borcsik. He is survived by: his wife Brenda A. Basile Borcsik; his sons, James M. Borcsik (Kristine), Joseph R. Borcsik (Stephanie) and Thomas L. Borcsik, Jr. (Zsofia); his grandchildren, Julia, Charlotte and Thomas; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Borcsik. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
