He was predeceased by: his wife Magdalene M. Smith; his parents, Alva Smith and Lauraetta Truesdale Smith; and his siblings, Ralph W. Smith, Horace Smith and Thelma Smith Coward.
He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Prospect Methodist Church (1256 Big Swamp Rd, Pamplico, SC 29583). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
