With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Cartledge of Parksville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Cartledge and Carrie Cartledge of Parksville; his wife Mattie Maud Cartledge; his son Wendell P. Cartledge; and his siblings, Joe, Damon, Charlie, Calvin, Minnie, Lorraine, Marie, Fannie, Elizabeth and Mary.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robbie Mitchell, Marvine Calloway of Fort Lauderdale and Wendy Cartledge of Somerset, NJ; his grandchildren, Tamara Cartledge, Starr Williams (O'Boris) and Tonya Burke (Kevin) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; his great grandchildren, Jade and Maya Burke; his niece Dolly Andrew; and also Susan Baker of Somerset, NJ. He is also survived by family members, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
