He was predeceased by : his parents, J. E. Chisholm and Lila Tyner Chisholm; and his brother Eugene "Gene" Chisholm. He is survived by : his wife Marie McLain Chisholm; his children, Kattie Huggins (Jackson) of McBee, SC and Alicia Perdue (Ronnie Dew) of Patrick, SC; his grandchildren, Cassidy Blanchard, Gage Huggins and Scarlett Huggins; and his sister Cathy Rivers.
Memorials may be made in honor of "Seemore" to an animal shelter of one's choice.
