He is survived by: his wife Joyce McLain Jones; his children, Laurie Jones, Jeff Poston of Hartsville, Jennifer Gainey and Wayne of Patrick; his grandchildren, Allison Brown, Andrew Traweek and Ava Traweek; and his siblings, Bobby Jones (Lynn), Annie Rae Jefferies (Leo), William Jones of Hartsville and Carolyn O'Neal of Patrick.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Patrick Cemetery.
