He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lee Bright, Sr. and Ida Virdella Thompson Bright; and his sister Brenda Wall. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Layton Bright; his children, Lee Bright (Amy), Martha Bright Nix (Mitch) and Mary Ann Bright Fink (Zachary); his grandchildren, Kaylee Pridmore (Joel), Kendyl Bright, Noah Nix, Hannah Nix, Luke Nix, Paul Matthew Nix, Aiden Fink and Liam Fink; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Andrew and Allee Pridmore; his siblings, Eli "Sonny" Bright (Marie) and Judy Bryant (Gene); and his brother-in-law Harry Wall.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Roebuck Baptist Church (1979 E Blackstock Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
