It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Cooper of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William H. McCarty and Mildred L. McCarty; her sister Dawn Shearer; and her brother-in-law William "Bill" Shearer. She is survived by : her husband David Cooper of Pawleys Island, SC; her son Dru Cooper of Pawleys Island, SC; her granddaughter Willow Bullard-Cooper; her brother William "Bill" McCarty (Teresa) of Hilton Head, SC; her nieces, Erika Schrader (Shawn) of St. Albans, WV and Amie Wetmore (Chris) of Virginia Beach, VA; and her nephew William "Will" McCarty (Annie Grace) of Simpsonville, SC. She is also survived by 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation in Debbie's memory be made to a charity of your choosing.
