He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Huempfner and Lucy Huempfner. He is survived by: his wife Jody Huempfner of Pawleys Island; his sons, Brian Huempfner (Alice), James "Jimmy" Huempfner (Elaina), John Huempfner (Norma) and David Huempfner (Sarah Catherine); and his grandchildren, Bryce, Kristin, Paxton, Hudson, Michael, Joseph, Jack, Sullivan and Ben.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Precious Blood Catholic Church (1633 Waverly Rd, Pawleys Island, SC 29585).
