He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Powers of Pawleys Island, SC; his children, Kellie Nickerson (Shawn) of North Tonawanda, NY, Edward B. Powers (Shannon) of Portland and Brendan Powers (Heather) of Liberty Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Noel, Kyle Nickerson, Zoe and Kennedy Powers; his brother Richard Powers; his niece Julia; his nephew Kent Powers; and his friend Earl Weaver. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
