With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George David Schmidt of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Louise Schmidt; his sister Dorothy Johnson; his brother-in-law Charles Johnson; his parents, George E. Schmidt and Genevieve Kensler Schmidt; his children, Scott Schmidt (Ruth) of Bainbridge Island, WA, Kevin Schmidt of Allentown, PA and Colleen Welch (Glenn) of Murrells Inlet, SC; his grandchildren, Joshua Schmidt (Chelsea) of Emmaus, PA, Morgan Welch of Raleigh, NC and Madison Welch of Murrells Inlet, SC; and his great grandchildren, Carter and Landon Schmidt.
