He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Vernon and Ruby Gilbert McLean; his daughters-in-law, Margaret McLean and Evelyn McLean; and his grandson Matthew Briggs.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Ruth Hudkins McLean; his children, Troy Douglas McLean (Candice), Kurt Vernon McLean (April) and Angela Parnell (Donald); and his grandchildren, Brittaney Wray (Mike), Ashton Parnell, Brandon Parnell and Jessika Harris (Mark). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sharon Crossroads Methodist Church (1600 W E Jeffcoat Rd, Gaston, SC 29053). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
