Judy Lucas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Lucas of Pelion, South Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Maxie Furman Lucas; her parents, Wylie Quitman "Slick" Jeffcoat and Ollie Smith Jeffcoat; her son Kenny Maxie Lucas; and her brothers, Ronald Jeffcoat (Betty), Frank Jeffcoat (Wilma), Theron Jeffcoat and Huey Jeffcoat.
She is survived by: her daughter Ava Lucas Jackson (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Jeremy Alan Jackson (Reihannon) and Lindsey Jackson Darby (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Chloe Marie Jackson, Landon Carter Darby and Kyler Marie Darby; and her sisters-in-law, Thelma Roebuck and Bunnie Jeffcoat. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
No flowers please, to honor Mrs. Judy's life, donations may be made to the Lisa Rucker Memorial Fund.
