It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Adkins of Pelion, South Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Henry "L. H." Adkins; her daughter Lillie Geneva Adkins Corder (Ricky); her daughter-in-law Kimberly Adkins; and her siblings, Helen Garner, Betty Wortham, Jack Cushman, Phil Cushman and Milton Cushman.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Adkins (Kim), Vicky Clayton (Kevin), Alex Adkins and Lee Adkins (Karen); her grandchildren, Kristen Geddings, Stephen Oliver, Larry Adkins (Rosetta), Emilee Adkins, Devin Paul, Rachale Humphrey, Amanda Clayton, LaRon Edwards, Mark Clayton (Monica), Mellisa Anslow, Kevin Craft, Machell Lowder, Elizabeth Anslow, Lacey Anslow, Samuel Cullen, Lauren Anslow, Randy Hall, Rose Simmons (Tommy), Breanna Adkins, Jimmy Prince and Dalton Adkins (Kirsten); her siblings, Patsy Adkins, Don Cushman, Ray Cushman, Cindy Burns (Allen) and Johnny Pauline (Angie); and her parents, Andrew Jackson Cushman and Mary Geneva Easler Cushman. She is also survived by 41 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blizzard Funeral Home Chapel (163 Main St S, Wagener, SC 29164).
