Shannon Whitten Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shannon Whitten of Pelion, South Carolina, who passed away on November 12, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Shannon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shannon. Though Shannon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his father Mike Whitten; his nephews, Aaron Barnette and Jesse Wood; and his pets, Pepper, Molly and Mya Whitten.

He is survived by: his wife Nichole Whitten; his children, Shaylin Jo Kyzer (Ryan) and Pryce Michael Allen Whitten (Chloe); his mother Sarah Whitten; and his siblings, Clyde Barnette (Gerry), Glenn Wood and Gwen Bailey (Larry).
