He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Samuel Black and Marian Black. He is survived by: his children, David Black and Lisa Hoffman; his brother Samuel Black; and his granddaughters, Josie Hoffman and Heidi Hoffman.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Palmetto Mortuary (1017 Mauldin Rd, Greenville, SC 29607). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
