She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harold and Mary Elizabeth Ballard Wood; her husband William Dendy "Bill" Taylor; and her brother James Larry Wood. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Taylor (Donna) and Susan Lowe (Scott); and her grandchildren, Jessica Melton (Jason), Lauren Horn (Robby) and Andrew Wood (Shaleena). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
