She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Dyar and Minnie Inez Tate Dyar; and her siblings, Joe Dyar, Buck Dyar and Bernice Mathis.

She is survived by: her sons, Derrick Dyar, David Dyar and Dakota Dyar; and her brother Ralph Dyar (Gail).
