We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2025, at the age of 73, James Garvin Chastain of Pelzer, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Garvin Chastain to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Chastain and Sybil Chastain; and his brothers, Gary and Danny Chastain. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Oden (James) and Alicia Holdbrooks (Adam); his sisters, Carolyn Burns (Joel) and Peggy Chapman (Stan); and his grandchildren, Bryson, Adalyn, Jayden and Jazmine.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mausoleum Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to VIA Hospice.
