She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Calvin and Falbia Coker Murrell; and her brother Luther Murrell. She is survived by: her husband Rolland "Ron" Lawrence Carlson; her sons, Jon Carlson of Pelzer and Jason Carlson of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Allison, Hannah, Kelsey and Alexis Carlson; and her great grandchildren, Landon Carlson, Silas Carber, Hazel Finley and Ciaran Finley.
