He was predeceased by: his mother Geneva Mae Edens Waters; his grandmother Mabel Leona Bishop Edens; his sister Karen Louise Waters Hewett; and his aunt Vera Edens. He is survived by: his sister Judy Smith (Joe) of Honea Path; his sibling's children, A. J. Hewett and Nicole Varnam; his brother-in-law Aaron Dean Hewett; his uncle David Edens; and his cousins, Cody Edens, Stacie, Jaxson, Sydney, Mark and Joshua Horne.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gray Mortuary Chapel (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669).
