With sadness, we share the passing of Marlene McCurry of Pelzer, South Carolina. Marlene, born on November 24, 1942, passed away on May 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Max E. McCurry; her parents, Hubert Royster and Romie Shed Royster; her children, Roger Young, Shirley Young and Sandra Manny; her grandson Joshua Young; and her siblings, Clayton Royster, Helen Davis, Nancy Roach and Hazel Royster.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Young and Melinda Padgett (Richard); and her sister Sue Burdett. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
